We'll be meeting to talk about the book The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby, a Christian author, historian, and speaker. In light of the current racial unrest in our country, we would love to have an open discussion about how we, as followers of Jesus, can work towards racial unity within the church. "The Color of Compromise...is a call from a place of love and desire to fight for a more racially unified church that no longer compromises what the Bible teaches about human dignity and equality." Whether you have time to read the book in full or only skim a few chapters, we hope you will join us. If you don't have time to read the book, but simply have a desire to talk about race relations and our Christian faith, please come!
