Sunday, April 30th, we will forgo having a gathering in the theater, and will serve our local city in a variety of ways. Join in with a Neighborhood Community -each group will be participating in a different project. Want to get involved? Read about the projects and reach out to the leaders listed below.

Neighborhood Community Projects

• North: Gardening at Birch Lane Elementary School @ 9AM. We'll be helping the school get ready for their carnival fundraiser by tidying up the grounds and creating succulent pots for sale. Bring water, sunscreen and gloves if you have them. Contact:  carrie@discoverydavis.org.

• South: Come clean up Marguerite Montgomery Elementary School and the nearby park and greenbelt area @10AM. Bring water to stay hydrated, and meet at the parking lot near the bathrooms. Contact: justin.koenigshof@gmail.com. 

• East: Pick up trash and help tidy Mace Ranch Park. Meet at 10AM near Korematsu Elementary School. First we'll share a light breakfast. Contact: wongbec@gmail.com.

• West: Join us Sunday morning for a prayer walk in the West Davis neighborhood. Our project to serve with Make it Happen will happen (!) on Saturday May 6th. Contact: rthayer1@gmail.com.

• Campus: Buy groceries and stock the UC Davis freedges to help support folks on campus with food-insecurity. Meet at the interns home (811 F Street, B3) at 10AM and carpool from there. Contact: pamisue713@gmail.com.

• Solano: Details are still being hammered out, but we hope to serve a local non-profit in the Vacaville area. Contact: angiedawn99@gmail.com.
