Yuan grew up in Albany, CA, before heading down to sunny UC San Diego, where he met his wife, Joy, who is a nurse. He spent his post-college years juggling full-time work while leading a campus ministry on the side, and he's particularly passionate about seeing the good news transform culture by redeeming the way we work. Yuan is currently pursuing an MBA degree at UC Davis, but he's also full of random hobbies. On any given day, you just might see him pursuing squirrels instead :)
Yuan and Joy have been married for 5 years and welcomed their daughter Mabel to their family last year. They've been at Discovery since 2015 and are excited to help bring the whole gospel to the whole person, because the good news of Jesus changes everything!
