Andrea was born in Omaha, Nebraska, spent a brief time in Iowa and New Jersey before spending her childhood in Vienna, Austria and young adult years in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of San Francisco. She subsequently earned her Masters and Ph.D. in Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco. During her graduate studies, she and her husband Luis, (married 12 years and counting!), bought a home in Davis and had two children.
Andrea loves to travel, visit family and friends, ski (though admittedly a bit rusty), run, cook, and perform home improvement projects. Andrea is excited to join the Elder team at Discovery where she hopes to help foster an environment for individuals, families and our community at large to flourish and lean into God's love for all of us.
