Hello,

We hope you are finding ways to continue the conversation from Sunday- we are Better Together and we desire that Discovery is a place where people can belong. One great way to model a culture of belonging, is to gather together and engage with our community. Discovery once again has the opportunity to serve our city, and connect with people in our community by hosting the Fun Zone at this year’s 4th of July celebration in Community Park! The Fun Zone is a designated place at the celebration for kids and families to hang out while they wait for the fireworks to start.

We need volunteers to help oversee classic lawn games, crafts and coloring, photo booth, face painting, Lego car racing, and a space where people in our community can share their needs and prayer request. You can sign up for all the opportunities to set up, run activities, and tear down, by clicking this link! The festivities in Community Park go from 4-8pm with fireworks starting at 9:30pm.
