Hope, Affliction, Prayer
Dear Discovery,
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12
As we live through a pandemic together it can sure feel hard to choose joy, patience, and faithfulness. I get that, I'm there! But, I see so many of you doing this very thing, and it challenges and inspire me to keep going. Thank you!
Here are a few updates and invitations as we wrap up April and look ahead to May:

- Tune in to the Digital Gathering this Sunday. This is one you won’t want to miss! We have a big invitation for all of us as we seek to be good news to our neighbors.
- Thank you for sharing your Good News Stories. Keep ‘em coming: the more the better!
- As you may have heard, Davis' 4th of July event was cancelled, so we will not be serving in that capacity this year. While a bummer, our relationship with the city remains strong and we look forward to serving again in 2021 (when the 4th happens to be on a Sunday).
