Discovery Family,

We are excited to announce the opportunities to serve our community during this month's Serve Sunday! If you haven't heard about it, once a quarter we set aside a Sunday, and instead of our usual morning Gathering, we join together throughout the area to be tangible good news to our neighbors. We love building relationship with local non-profits and partnering with the city of Davis. You won't want to miss it, so check out what the Street Team has put together:

• Burritos with Brian: prep burritos on Saturday evening, and pass them out to unhoused folks in Downtown Davis on Sunday morning
• Graffiti abatement: Clean up graffiti and trash at Community Park with Lauren Granillo
• Litter cleanup: Serve with "Davis Picks it Up" to clean up trash at the Park and Ride near Ikeda's Market
• Storage organization (Youth only): Help us organize and clean out our storage unit!
• 4th of July crafts (Families with young kids): Help Becky Ke prepare crafts for Davis' annual 4th of July celebration
• Empower Yolo: Serve this organization that helps under-resourced folks (coming to the sign up soon!)
