Hello Discovery Family,

It has been nearly a year since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Can you believe that?

We continue to be saddened by the loss of life and the many who are sick or still recovering. We mourn with those who mourn and feel for those who are isolated and struggling with mental health. We are burdened for families: parents trying to balance work and kids in distance learning.

It has been a long and hard road for all of us.

We continue to do our best to abide by our county guidelines, the advice of medical professionals in our community, and the mantra: “quick to close, slow to open.”

In doing so we hope to love our neighbors as ourselves, as Jesus called us to do.

In the fall we had the opportunity to meet in person, outdoors, at Bet Haverim and Community Park, and that was pretty glorious! We hope to return as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep tuning in to the Digital Gatherings, join a Discovery group, and look for opportunities to serve your neighbors.

Contend with God in prayer for healing and restoration!

Finally, if anyone is in need of anything (food, help paying bills, access to mental health services) please let us know, we are here to help!
