Dear Discovery,

First, thank you so much to everyone who helped with Sunday's LiveStream and to those of you who tuned in! Pretty cool to see the response in a very strange moment!

Here's the latest update from the city of Davis on COVID-19 guidelines. This weekend we really pushed group involvement, but that has changed now, and so we are cancelling in-person Group gatherings. Each of our groups is going to utilize a digital space (zoom or google hangouts) to keep meeting and to stay connected. Check in with your group leader if you have not received an invitation to one of those meetings.

Otherwise, you can stay connect through our App, Social Media (links below), or our YouTube channel.

While it is wise to distance socially, and certainly my encouragement is to follow the guidelines we are being given, we also want to reach out to each other and our neighbors. Texting, calling, dm's, facetime, there are so many ways to maintain human connection even if we can't be together. Take advantage of those options and let's check in on each other and love each other well!

Finally, as we engage with the Practice of Solitude may you have time and space this week to take a deep breath, to pause, to be still, and to remember that God is with us.
