Discovery Family!

What an awesome Advent and Christmas season we shared together. I don’t know about you, but it went by too fast for me! 

Two highlights: First, Christmas Eve was really special, being able to share that moment, in-person, with all of you! 

Second, your response to our generosity challenge has been fantastic. We raised $8788.12 to share with World Relief. 100% of those funds will go towards helping Afghan refugees resettle in our area. Thank you for your worshipful, missional, and sacrificial participation in this effort!

We start the year with a big conversation on Scripture: the how and why of this great collection of books, and how we can practice reading Scripture in community. Don’t miss these upcoming Gatherings (in person or online) and follow-up convos in groups and Mid-Sized Communities.

Finally, this past Sunday we had a sweet return of kids programming on Sunday mornings in our Gatherings. I got to be part of Week 1 as one of the “teachers” and it was SO FUN. We had a great time together and I am deeply encouraged by the work our team has done to create a fresh, welcoming space for our kids to discover the good news of Jesus.

I could go on and on with all that I am excited about right now, but I need to stop! Praying for your health and safety and for a real encounter with our good and gracious God through his word as we kick off 2022 together.
